SX-9000 /SX-8000/ SX-6000 supersonic flame spraying is a new type of HVOF system, its basic principle is to atomize kerosene through oxygen to form a combustible mixture into the combustion chamber, the ignition system will ignite it to produce high temperature and high pressure flame, and accelerate the formation of high temperature and high pressure supersonic flame flow through the pull-valve nozzle. Powder feeder will send powder materials from the low pressure area into the flame flow. After heating acceleration, it is sprayed onto the surface of the workpiece to form a high-quality coating. spraying system is a spraying equipment developed on the basis of the introduction, digestion and absorption of foreign advanced equipment and technology, and has different significant characteristics from other HVOF.

 

Safe operation: HVOF runs on kerosene or similar fuels. For maximum performance, other HVOF systems typically use hydrogen, a potentially dangerous gas. But HVOF does not need this expensive, difficult-to-process gas to get the best performance. Kerosene is a safe fuel widely used in millions of homes, so sx-9000, SX-8000,SX-6000 are the safest choices for HP/HVOF coatings

 

Coating systems provide high quality coating services for industries including steel, Marine, aerospace, carton machinery, paper machinery, plastics machinery, petrochemical machinery and general machinery. Some of the coatings of the sx-8000 have become standard coatings for various types of rollers in the steel industry, corrugated rollers in carton machinery, and large diesel engine intake and exhaust valve stems.

SX-8000 Supersonic Flame spraying Features:

 

1. The fuel used is kerosene and the combustion gas is oxygen, which is a safer combustion mode.

2, the flame flow speed is high, the output power is large, and the gas and fuel flow can be adjusted arbitrarily.

3, the spray gun uses radial powder feeding, this new injection method makes the powder can be better deepened and evenly distributed in the entire flame, improve the covering efficiency and coating quality.

4. The temperature range is located in a certain range in the system design, and the increase of speed is regarded as the main objective function of structural optimization. X-ray diffraction test proves that the prepared coating not only has high bonding strength, high coating density, but also the surface stress is compressive stress.

5, modular design, control terminal +PLC control, safe and easy to operate.

6, combustion design particle speeds of 1100 m/s (3,300 to 3,900 ft/s), significantly faster than other HVOF spray systems;

7, the coating thickness is greater than 1/2 inch (compressive stress layer). The microhardness of the coating is higher than that of any other technology or system (WC-Co), the hardness is 1450, while the microhardness of other gas HVOF spray guns is only 1100 ~ 900;

8. The sx-8000 supersonic flame spraying equipment achieves excellent high pressure HVOF spraying coating quality, and the bonding strength of the coating can reach 90 mpa.

SX-6000 HVOF equipment Site preparation:

 

1.main power switch + propane + nitrogen + liquid oxygen ( for HVOF advanced plasma spray gun

A, nitrogen: nitrogen for powder feeding, common nitrogen cylinder, nitrogen pressure 0.8mpa

B, propane: propane for spray gun ignition, ordinary propane cylinder, propane pressure 0.8MPa

C: liquid oxygen: liquid oxygen gas and kerosene are added together to produce a flame.

2.Ordinary industrial kerosene or aviation kerosene should be clean and free from impurities. Fuel interface can be directly connected to the oil drum and tilt the oil drum. The oil drum should be equipped with 10um fuel filter and re-supply equipment.

3.  Sprayed All kinds of ceramic coatings Including:Tungsten carbide, nickel-chromium carbide, nickel-chromium alloy, etc. / Carbide powder :WC, TiC, Cr3C2, etc. / cermet powder: WC-CO, CR3C2-NICR, etc

 

 

 

SX-6000 HVOF spraying equipment is an improved spraying equipment based on the introduction/digestion/absorption of foreign advanced equipment and technology.

 

Compared with other HVOF, there are eight distinct and significant characteristics:

 

1. Kerosene is the fuel and oxygen is the combustion aid. This is a relatively safe way to burn.

2. The gun is designed according to the principle of rocket engine. Chamber pressure up to 150PSI and speed up to 150PSI

1.PLC and touch screen are used to set parameters to precisely control powder feeding accuracy and speed.

Heat exchanger is also called refrigerator or water chiller. We use double motors compressor to make this machine smaller and save space for our customer. The spray gun is cooled down by water, and we use heat exchanger to cool down the high temperature water coming from spray gun, and then use   these cooled water  to cool down the spray gun again. In this way the spray gun can keep a normal working temperature and prolong the usage life of spray nozzle.

Function characteristic

The range of testing temperature is -4.9℃-94.9℃,dispraying resolution ratio is 0.1℃,controling sensitivity is 0.1℃,offset range is -0.5℃—10℃,used in AC220V input.the instrument use condition:relative humidity less than 90%RH,the temperature is within 0—45℃ with no corrosion and water-proof.
