Function:
Plasma is used as heat source to spheroidize and densify refractory metal and ceramic powders. The plasma arc temperature reaches 15000 degrees above, making the surface of the powder particles melt rapidly. Under the action of surface tension, the powders are rapidly quenched, and the particles shrink and spheroidize, forming dense spherical powders
Production process:
1, plasma reactor can be filled with inert gas, pure and clean atmosphere, prevent oxidation,
2. There is a cooling water jacket on the inner wall of the powder collection tank to avoid the hot powder sticking to the inner wall of the tank.
3. Plasma arc temperature reaches 15000 degrees, powder is cooled rapidly in inert atmosphere, and the synthesized powder has fine particle size and good dispersion.
4, plasma equipment process is simple, gas controllable, can prevent powder pollution, suitable for the preparation of high purity powder.
